ETHICS
This segment of the National Firearms Law Seminar is designed to focus on the ethical considerations of criminal defense lawyers when a client provides them with a piece of incriminating physical evidence. Such scenarios leave defense counsel facing a serious ethical dilemma, weighing their ethical duties of loyalty, competence and confidentiality to their clients against possible criminal law sanctions and the responsibility of all lawyers to uphold the integrity of the administration of justice. Real life scenarios and practice tips will be discussed.
