Representing the Federal Firearms Licensee (FFL)

Mr. Gardiner will discuss representation of federal firearms licensees. The presentation will cover licensees’ rights under the Fourth and Fifth Amendments, and under the Gun Control Act; what to do (and not to do) during an ATF inspection; and what records ATF may inspect and seize. It will also cover the conduct of a warning conference and the process leading to, and the conduct of, an administrative hearing following a license revocation. The judicial review process, and the standards that apply on such review, will also be discussed.
