Stefan B. Tahmassebi is the Deputy General Counsel for the National Rifle Association of America. He is a member of the Virginia, District of Columbia, and Maryland bars. He has been working in the NRA's General Counsel Office for 16 years. Prior to that, Mr. Tahmassebi practiced law as an Associate in the Northern Virginia and Washington D.C. offices of Jawad George & Associates. Mr. Tahmassebi received his J.D. degree from the Georgetown University Law Center in 1987 and his B.A. degree from the University of Virginia in May, 1983. His published works include various articles in NRA magazines and an article entitled "Gun Control and Racism" which was published in the George Mason University Civil Rights Journal.
