Cindy E. Hill, ESQ.

Attorney Cindy Ellen Hill is in private practice in Vermont, representing firearms owners in a wide variety of contexts including criminal defense, forfeiture defense, game regulation violations, defense of shooting clubs against nuisance and land-use regulation actions, and Brady denial appeals. Hill teaches law courses at Champlain College and the Community College of Vermont and writes extensively on firearms law and other legal issues. Author of Brady Denial: You Can Get Your Guns Back (Paladin Press), Hill provides consultations to attorneys around the country regarding strategies for successful appeal of Brady denials and the return of firearms seized in forfeitures.

Hill is a graduate of SUNY Stony Brook 1984 with a degree in Political Science/American Government and graduated in 1987 from Vermont Law School with both a JD and a MSL in Environmental Law. She is admitted in Vermont, the 1st and 2nd Circuits and the U.S. Supreme Court. She is a lifetime member of the NRA and of the Sportsmen's Club of Franklin County, and sits on the boards of the Vermont Outdoor Guide Association and Vermont Outdoors Women.
