M. Carol Bambery, Esq. - Carol is in-house counsel for the Association of Fish and Wildlife Agencies in Washington, D.C. She has served as in-house counsel for the Michigan Department of Natural Resources and as its Legislative liaison. She specializes in nonprofit governance and natural resource law. She has been a board member of the National Rifle Association since 1997. She is an adjunct professor at Thomas M. Cooley Law School where she teaches second amendment-related courses, and has been a president of its Alumni Board. She has been involved in a wide variety of pro-gun litigation in the state of Michigan, such as successfully arguing the first case interpreting the Michigan Sport Shooting Range Protection Act, successfully arguing the first case upholding the Michigan Firearms Preemption Law, and working to pass Michigan's new "shall issue" concealed carry statute. She is the author of "The Laymen's Guide to Michigan Gun Laws," and is the coordinator for the Eddie Eagle GunSafe Program in elementary schools. Ms. Bambery is a strong advocate and spokesperson for women's participation in the shooting sports.
