youth, such as firearms safety and marksmanship hunter education and
accident prevention programs.
- Hunting & Wildlife Conservation Endowment: Supporting
programs promoting hunting education, wildlife management, conservation and
the development of hunter education materials for wildlife agencies.
- Firearms & Marksmanship Training Endowment: Supporting programs,
activities and materials that promote gun safety, marksmanship training and
the shooting sports.
- Law Enforcement Training Endowment: Supporting instructors,
agencies and programs serving la enforcement personnel through enhancement
of professional firearms-related skills, safety and marksmanship training.
- Women's Programs Endowment: Supporting programs that address the
firearms-related needs and interests of women, including safety training,
hunter education, recreational shooting and personal safety.
- National Firearms Museum Endowment: Exclusively supporting
the programs, activities and operating expenses of the National Firearms
Museum-an American treasure, and one of the world's finest collections of
historical firearms.
- Handloading Education Endowment: Supporting programs
teaching the skill of rifle, pistol and/or shotgun ammunition reloading.
- Range Facilities & Programs Endowment: Supports programs
that further the development of safe, environmentally sound, readily
available shooting ranges and programs.
- Scholarship Endowment: Provides academic support for
deserving students who demonstrate a need, aptitude and desire to excel in
scholastics, leadership and the shooting sports.
- Gun Collecting Endowment: Supports the promotion of gun
collecting and the historical technological and cultural disciplines that
gun collecting embraces.
- Disabled Shooting Services Endowment: Supports programs
which provide hunting and recreational shooting opportunities for Americans
with physical disabilities.
- Gunsmith Training Endowment: Supporting cooperative
programs with institutions of higher learning to develop gunsmithing
education programs within their curriculum.
- NRA Civil Rights Defense Fund Endowment: Exclusively
supports the NRA civil Rights Defense, which assists in litigation relating
to our Second Amendment right to keep and bear arms.
- The NRA Foundation General Endowment: Income generated by
the NRA Foundation's general endowment is awarded to the programs most
critically in need of funding at the time, whether it be gun safety
training, hunter education, youth programs, scholarships or other programs.
- The NRA Civil Rights Defense Fund: Established by the NRA Board
of Directors in 1978 to become involved in court cases establishing legal
precedents in favor of gun owners. This fund provided legal and
financial assistance to selected individuals and organizations defending
their right to keep and bear arms.
- The NRA Whittington Center: The Whittington Center was
established to expand educational , recreational and shooting activities.
This is the most comprehensive shooting facility in America today.
